1. Overview
This page explains how users of DeepDate — the AI-powered dating app developed and operated by Kafeinman — can request the permanent deletion of their account and all associated personal data.
You may submit a deletion request at any time, either directly through the app or by contacting our support team. Once your account is deleted, the action is irreversible.
We process all deletion requests within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once deletion is complete. For questions, contact us at support@deepdate.app.
2. Delete Your Account via the App
The fastest way to delete your account is directly inside the DeepDate app. Follow these steps:
Launch the DeepDate app on your device and make sure you are logged in to the account you want to delete.
Tap the Profile icon in the bottom navigation bar to open your profile screen.
Tap the Settings icon (gear icon) in the top-right corner of your profile screen.
Scroll to the bottom of the Settings screen and tap Delete Account.
Read the confirmation prompt carefully and tap Delete Permanently to finalize the request. Your account will be scheduled for immediate deletion.
This action cannot be undone. Once confirmed, your account, matches, messages, and all associated data will be permanently removed. If you have an active Premium subscription, cancel it before deleting your account to avoid further charges.
3. Delete Your Account by Email
If you cannot access the app (e.g. you have lost access to your device or phone number), you may submit a deletion request by email.
Send your request to support@deepdate.app.
This ensures your request is routed to the correct team immediately.
Provide the phone number or email address associated with your DeepDate account so we can locate and verify it.
Our team will verify your identity and process the deletion within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email when complete.

4. What Gets Deleted
Upon deletion of your DeepDate account, the following data is permanently and irreversibly removed from our systems:

5. What Is Retained After Deletion
In limited circumstances, some data may be retained after account deletion to comply with legal obligations or to protect the safety of the platform:

6. Deletion Timelines
- In-app deletion — Your account is deactivated immediately. Personal data (profile, photos, messages, face embedding) is permanently deleted within 30 days.
- Email deletion request — We will process your request and confirm deletion within 30 days of receiving your verified email.
- Encrypted backups — Residual backup copies are automatically purged within 90 days of account deletion.
- Financial records — Anonymized billing records are retained for up to 5 years as required by Turkish and applicable international tax law.
